Event Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Event Coordinator provides logistical and administrative support for all Philanthropy-led events, including the Destiny Award Luncheon, Fall Event, alumni reception, and cultivation gatherings. This role ensures seamless execution of timelines, vendor communications, guest logistics, and event-day operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning and coordinating event timelines, checklists, and logistics.
  • Manage event-related databases, registration systems, and RSVPs.
  • Coordinate vendor schedules and deliveries
  • Support set-up, execution, and breakdown of all major events.
  • Prepare guest communications, signage, and collateral as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting large-scale events.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends for events.
